A personal project addressing the growing trend of post-retirement employment in the United States. This job board platform uniquely categorizes positions based on factors that matter most to retirees: physical demands, social environment, schedule flexibility, and location. The system uses Elasticsearch to deliver instant, location-aware search results, helping retirees find opportunities that match their lifestyle preferences. Job posters can list positions through an integrated Stripe payment system, while job seekers can use sophisticated filters to find exactly the type of work that suits their needs.

My Role

As a solo side project, I designed and built Seasoned Force entirely from scratch. I created the complete system: from the Elasticsearch-powered search engine, api design and job categorization system to the React frontend and Stripe payment integration.
